ABOUT US

Welcome to our page!

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Mark Szebasztian Fenyes, the owner of Blue BloodLine Cane Corso Kennel. Since childhood, I've always been crazy about animals, but unfortunately, I had no chance to own a dog until I was 12 years old. My first purebred dog was a Bassett Hound, which I used to start my breeding career when I was only 14. Then, in 1997, a guy moved next door with a kind of dog I'd never even seen before! With a structure of radiating force, paired with an elegant yet commanding authoritative look. A breed so large and strong, it looked like a dog from hell, a warrior among dogs - The Cane Corso. That look completely burned into my mind, something I think you could compare love at first sight to! Later on, after getting another dog with my neighbor, we raised our first litter. It wasn't that successful since the breed was so unknown, not just locally but worldwide. I remember it was a nightmare finding homes for the puppies, marketing wasn't easy then, with the lack of any social media or online platforms since they didn't exist... After completing my studies, I spent more than 5 years in the United Kingdom and then 6 months in Canada to gain some life experience. Shortly after, I decided to move back home, and I met my wife, Marietta Fenyes Papp, who, of course, is another animal lover who completed the missing part of my puzzle. She knew that I've always loved the Cane Corso, and after we made our home in 2012, she surprised me on my birthday with the idea to choose one from a breeder she found. The dogs were very impressive compared to other breeders' stock. As anyone can tell, she is probably as crazy as I am, and she not only surprised me with one but also decided to get one for herself too! And so our adventure began. Meanwhile, over the past years, my wife and I both have gained professional studies and experience in agricultural sciences, university degrees in animal breeding, pet hydrotherapy, and animal health care as a vet technician. We not only give love to our animals but also take care and breed them with real knowledge and passion. We decided not to get involved in dog shows a while ago, as we don't feel this is a clean game anymore to invest our interest in. As they say:

,,Dog shows are a Game - Breeding is an Art,,

All of our dogs live in a wide-open place, where they can move and exercise freely, and we also have a separate air-conditioned building with many whelping rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen for the dogs' use only. With this kennel, we both devote our time to loving and caring for them. Our litters are planned well in advance to improve the Cane Corso and to produce happy, healthy stable dogs. Whether you want a family pet or are thinking of breeding, you are in the right place. We are very selective about the dogs we breed with, using only those which we feel have a good representation of the breed and pass the genetic not only for excellent temperaments and balance but also for that special expression of the Cane Corso that makes a real difference from a Boxer or a Labrador. Additionally, all of our Cane Corso are health-tested, hip and elbow screened, and occasionally checked by our Vet. Our Cane Corso puppies are family-raised, and during the first few weeks, we monitor them 24/7. More often than not, we have put a bed for us next to the whelping box. We live in a countryside home with plenty of land, which gives home to our dogs along with bengal cats, and even though we don't have our own, we're blessed with two godchildren at least, which gives good help with the early socialization of our puppies. Please view our site, and in case you have any questions, we are always happy to answer about our dogs and will try to help you find the right puppy for you! Best regards, Mark Szebasztian Fenyes Owner, Blue BloodLine Cane Corso Kennel
